Barlow at war with record labels

London, Nov 10 (IANS) Singer Gary Barlow is taking on the record companies and thinks more artistes should start off their own record labels as the endeavour will help in bringing new artistes to the fore.

Barlow thinks this trend will take place since artistes like himself and Amy Winehouse have taken on the companies, dailystar.co.uk reports.

He said: ‘You’re going to see more singers start record companies, like me and Amy have. It’s a way to get new artistes some guaranteed exposure.’

‘I’m not looking to sign anyone other than Camilla right now. At most, I’ll work with one artiste every other year in ‘Take That’ downtime. I want to be there for whenever she needs advice.’
