London, October 08 (ANI): Beyonce has said that she felt dreadful when Kanye West interrupted Taylor Smith at VMA to suggest that the ‘Single Ladies’ hitmaker deserved the Best Female Video award.

However, the beauty added that the rap star had stood for what he thought was correct.

“Well, I knew his intentions, and I knew he was standing up for art.He told me before, when they said the nominees, he was like, ‘You have this award.’ And when they didn’t call my name he was, like, completely shocked,” the Sun quoted her as saying.

“When he walked on the stage, I was like, ‘No, no, no!’ Then he spoke, and I was like, ‘Oh, no, no, no!’” she added.

Nonetheless, Beyonce had asked Taylor to come back onstage when she won her own award later in the night.

She added: “It ended up being a great night, and Taylor Swift did get her moment – and I didn’t have to make an acceptance speech!” (ANI)
