BROADWAY AGENT EISEN DIES
Celebrated Broadway press agent MAX EISEN has died, aged 91.
Eisen, who worked on more than 1,000 shows during his decades-long career, died of natural causes on 23 November (09) at his home in Manhattan, New York.
From 1954 to 1997 he was the press agent for more than 60 Broadway shows and dozens of Off Broadway productions, including The Matchmaker, The World of Charles Aznavour, You?re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Raisin, a revival of Guys and Dolls, The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds, and a revival of The Wiz.
He is survived by Barbara – his wife of 44 years – a son Glenn, a daughter Lee Kittay, and five grandchildren.
