Drug lord Pablo Escobar burned £1m to keep his daughter warm!
London, Nov 4 (ANI): Late Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar is said to have burned more than 1million pounds of his money in one night just so he could cook and keep his daughter warm.
Escobar, who was at the time fleeing from the police, used wads of the US dollars to light a bonfire at his mountain hideout, reports the Mirror.
His son Sebastian Marroquin, who changed his name from Juan Pablo Escobar, revealed to Colombian magazine that his father thought the girl was suffering from hypothermia.
Escobar was head of the Medellin cartel, and he had an estimated 18billion pounds fortune in 1989. He was shot dead in 1993 as he tried to flee police. (ANI)
