JO WOOD WAS ‘OVER’ RONNIE IN TWO MONTHS
RONNIE WOOD’s ex-wife JO found it easy to move on from their split – insisting she was “over” her husband of 24 years in just two months.
The couple ended their relationship in July last year (08), when the Rolling Stones star walked out after his affair with young Russian waitress Ekaterina Ivanova was made public.
Jo admits she was devastated by the break-up, but it didn’t take her long to get on with her life.
She says, “I mean I was heartbroken. But truly, it didn’t take me that long to… I can’t say to get over it, not completely. But I did start finding my way out of it quite quickly. Two months!
“I thought, ‘Your family are all here and they love their mum. And you really are very lucky. So let’s go, Jo.’”
The former couple, who have two grown-up children together, was granted a divorce last month (Nov09).
