Prakash in Korea ATP quarters
Chuncheon (South Korea), Nov 4 (IANS) India’s Prakash Amritraj entered the $100,000 Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) quarter-finals here Wednesday.
Prakash carved out a fighting 6-1, 2-6, 7-6(4) win over Latvian Andis Juska.
He next plays the Netherlands’ Igor Sijsling, who shocked third-seeded Slovak Lukas Lacko 6-4, 2-6, 6-4.
In the doubles, fourth-seeded pair of India’s Purav Raja and his Australian partner Sadik Kadir entered the quarter-finals with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Australian Greg Jones and Czech Pavel Snobel.
