Displaced tribesmen hold rally in Mizoram

Naishingpara (Mizoram), Nov 17 (ANI): Hundreds of people belonging to the Reang Tribe joined a rally against rights violation here on Monday.

Mizoram ethnic violence: paramilitary forces deployed

13 new swine flu deaths take India’s toll to 444

New Delhi, Oct 25 (IANS) Thirteen new swine flu deaths were reported Sunday, taking the total toll in India due to Influenza A(H1N1) virus to 444, health authorities said here.

NREGA transforming lives in rural Mizoram

Aizwal, Sep.8 (ANI): By generating employment opportunities through infrastructure development projects, the National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (NREGA) has helped people in rural areas of Mizoram.

In Vairengte, located about 130 km from Aizawl, the state capital, many villagers are being employed in road construction projects.
