SAIL, NMDC sign pact to develop Arki Limestone Mine in Himachal

New Delhi, Nov. 16 (ANI): Mining major NMDC and Steel Authority of India Ltd. (SAIL) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop a limestone project at Arki in Himachal Pradesh.

Steel production to be 124 mn tonnes by 2011-12: Minister

Kolkata, Nov 14 (IANS) Steel Minister Virbhadra Singh Saturday said India’s annual steel production would touch 124 millions tonnes by 2011-12.
