Islamabad, Dec 5 (DPA) A huge blast ripped through a busy market in Peshawar, the capital of Pakistan’s North Western Frontier Province Saturday, media reports said.

The market also houses an outlet of US restaurant chain KFC, the reports said, indicating a possible target.

Suicide bomber kills Iraqi policeman, injures eight

Baghdad, Nov 22 (DPA) A man detonated explosives packed into his car as he approached a police checkpoint north of the western Iraqi city of Falluja Sunday, killing a policeman, authorities said.

Health officials said five policemen and three civilian bystanders were injured.
