Twitterers ‘hijack’ Britney’s shopping trip in Melbourne
Melbourne, November 28 (ANI): The news of Britney Spears’ shopping trip in Melbourne became a huge spectator event after fans posted word of her plans on their Twitter pages.
Nearly 300 devotees were said to have crowded Myers Little Bourke St entrance to catch a glimpse of the pop princess.
Myer reportedly curtained off an area of its store to let the singer hand pick her choice in private, reports News.com.au.
The 27-year-old star treaded the store surrounded by an entourage of about eight people, according to reports.
She went on to splurge 4618.45 dollars in the spree that lasted just over 45 minutes. (ANI)
