US firms urged to tap investment opportunities in UAE
Abu Dhabi, Oct 13 (IANS) United Arab Emirates (UAE) Foreign Trade Minister Lubna Bint Khalid Al Qasimi Tuesday urged the US firms to tap the investment opportunities in the country to bolster trade ties, WAM news agency reported Tuesday.
The UAE is a major trade partner of the US in the Middle East.
She told a visiting US business delegation that the UAE government has taken effective measures to deal with the global financial crisis.
‘These steps have helped the UAE to ride over the crisis in a record time,’ the UAE minister said during talks with the representatives of 20 US companies.
She also called for bolstering the existing US-UAE partnership.
