Visakhapatnam to host first “day-night” ODI on Dec. 18
Visakhapatnam, Nov 30 (ANI): Preparations are in full swing for the first day-night One-Day International cricket match in Visakhapatnam, to be played between Sri Lanka and India on December 18.
The stadium has a capacity of 26,000 and tickets for 16,000 seats would be on sale for public.
“The floodlights have been installed in the stadium for the first day-night match. The stadium has hosted many one-day cricket matches before. The teams will arrive here on December 16 and will practice for two days,” said Ajeya Kallam, Chairman of the organising committee.
Sri Lanka will play the third and final Test match against India in Mumbai on ednesday. (ANI)
