Witherspoon, Gyllenhaal split
New York, Nov 30 (IANS) Oscar winning actress Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal, who have been dating for the past two years, have split, said a source.
People.com reports that no further details were given about their separation.
Witherspoon, 33, and Gyllenhaal, 28, worked together in the 2007 movie ‘Rendition’, after which rumours started floating about them as an off-screen couple. By the summer of 2008, the rumours appeared to be confirmed when the two spent an extended Bastille Day holiday in Paris.
Gyllenhaal is known for his role in ‘Brokeback Mountain’, which earned him a 2006 Oscar nomination.
